title: Poison or pencil lead description: Two slogans that flatten form, dose, and route. Neither is a review article. tags:

Parent: fringe. Health numbers: effects. Forms: forms.
The two slogans
“Graphene is poison.” Treats GO, dry nanoplatelet powder, and a peeled monolayer as one object. Ignores the short human GO inhalation study (Andrews 2024 / NCT03659864) and the absence of a worker case series in the reviews NIOSH used. Also ignores that high-dose rodent lung work is real — just not a license to use the word “poison” for every sheet.
“Graphene is pencil lead.” Graphite is the parent. GO is oxidized. A workplace powder is not a pencil core. The slogan is used to close the safety file before form and route are named.
