title: Safety, exposure, toxicology description: Occupational measurements and nanosafety papers are real. They are not a conspiracy and not a license to ignore dust. tags:

Evidence: Mixed. Field hygiene data can be well-supported. Many cell-culture papers are preliminary. Nothing here is medical advice.

What is actually measured at work
NIOSH sampled workers at US graphene producers/users. Against a conservative 10 µg/m³ occupational band (not an OSHA PEL), many samples exceeded it when dry powder was handled. Prefer masterbatch or liquid in that literature. 2026-09-16-niosh-graphene-exposure · 2026-W38
No disease cluster is attached to those notes on this site. Absence of a reported cluster is not proof of lifelong safety.
What the paper pile is
Thousands of papers on GO / graphene in cells, rodents, environmental models. Results depend on form, oxidation, metals, dose, and route. That is why a single “graphene is toxic / graphene is safe” sentence is propaganda either way.
What this is not
- Proof that licensed vaccines contain GO (conspiracies).
- Proof that a composite part sheds monolayer graphene into blood.
- A substitute for a site-specific industrial-hygiene plan.
